Announcement

There will be no daily thoughts or audio sermon/podcast for the week of Monday 6/13 through Saturday 6/18 as I will be out of town. We will pick back up on Monday 6/20 as usual. This being said, Daily Thoughts and sermons will be the only things that will not be uploaded that week. God willing, I would like to have a blog post uploaded, as well as a poem or two.

With that being said. I will be leaving you with scriptures for each day that week that you can reflect on, and then when I come back, I will elaborate on them for that week's Daily Thoughts. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! My email is always open and despite my travels, I will be checking my email a few times a day to make sure everyone's needs are being taken care of. I appreciate your cooperation, and I look forward to getting back at it Monday 6/20!

God bless,

Rev. Thompson

Scripture For the Week:

Monday- Proverbs 4:25-26

"Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways."

-Think about keeping your eyes fixed on the prize.

Tuesday- Psalm 30:3

"You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead; you spared me from going down to the pit.
-Think about how you can use your life to show your gratitude towards our Savior.

Wednesday- Ecclesiastes 2:13

"I saw that wisdom is better than folly, just as light is better than darkness."

-Think of wisdom as righteousness and God as light.

Thursday- Proverbs 16:24

"Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones."

-Think about how you can not only use your words to encourage someone but to spread the good news.

Friday- Psalm 60:11-12

"Give us aid against the enemy for human help is worthless. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies."

-Think about the times when God has pulled out the victory for you when people couldn't.
